Version 1.0

1. Who you are dealing with

In these documents "TuneGrid", "we", "us" and "our" mean Tune Grid Pty Ltd, an Australian company (company registration in progress; the registered details, ABN and registered address will be added to this document on registration and shown in your portal settings). The platform runs on remapsolutions.com and its subdomains, and on tunegrid.au and tunegridfiles.com.

On this site TuneGrid is the seller of everything you buy: we set the prices, issue your receipt and invoice, deliver the files, and handle support and refunds. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

2. Buying without an account

You can buy without an account. We use your email address to send your receipt, invoice and download link, and every purchase is recorded as a job in our portal. You can create an account at any time with the same email address, or from the link in your receipt, to see your jobs, download them again and get support. Download links expire for security; a new one is always available from your receipt link or your account.

3. What we sell

Original files: the stock (factory) software file for the control unit identified on the listing, supplied as held in our library and delivered as a download.

Ready-made tunes: tuned files prepared from our library, supplied as-is and delivered as a download.

Custom tunes: built by our tuners for the file you upload. A custom tune needs an account; work starts once you have requested and paid for it in your account.

4. Check before you buy

Each listing shows the numbers that identify the file (such as hardware, software and calibration numbers). Check that they match your control unit before you buy. File identification on this site is automated and can be wrong; if you are unsure, create an account and ask us before buying. Before writing any file to a vehicle, keep a copy of the software already on it.

Tuned files need their checksum corrected before they are written to the vehicle. Every tuned file tells you whether we have corrected it; most flashing tools do it automatically, and where we can correct it for you, we offer it free before delivery.

5. Your licence

An original file you buy is licensed to you for use on vehicles fitted with the matching control unit. A tuned file is licensed for the vehicle it was bought for. You must not resell, share or publish files you buy.

6. Refunds

Our files are digital products delivered as downloads, so change of mind refunds are not offered. If a file does not match the numbers on its listing, cannot be opened, or a tune does not work as described, sign in (or create an account from your receipt link) and tell us in the job's support thread: we will diagnose and fix it, replace the file, or refund you. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Australian Consumer Law: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to cancel the affected service and obtain a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For failures that are not major you are entitled to have the failure remedied in a reasonable time. Nothing in this document excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a guarantee failure (section 64A of the Australian Consumer Law, for goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use), our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the affected service or paying the cost of resupply, where it is fair and reasonable to do so.

If you buy from outside Australia, you also keep the consumer rights your local law gives you.

7. Your vehicle

Vehicle modifications are regulated. Modifying engine software can affect the vehicle's emissions compliance, roadworthiness, registration, insurance cover and manufacturer warranty. Laws differ by country and state, and in many places it is unlawful to remove or reduce the effectiveness of emission control systems (for example DPF, EGR, AdBlue or catalyst functions) on a vehicle used on public roads, regardless of any label on the product. Products described as motorsport or off-road only must not be used on public roads. You are responsible for confirming that any modification you order is lawful for the vehicle and its intended use in its jurisdiction before you buy it, and, when you order for a customer, for clearly explaining this to them. If you are unsure, ask your workshop or your local authority first.

8. Files you upload

Only upload files you have the right to use. You keep the rights in your files and grant TuneGrid the licence needed to store, identify, process and tune them. When you upload a file on this site you also agree, by ticking the box, that we keep a copy to improve our file identification; we keep that copy without your name or email address. A custom tune request that is not claimed with an account within 30 days is deleted, apart from that copy.

9. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout. Any tax we must collect for your country is shown at checkout before you pay.

10. Fair use

Do not upload malware, probe the site's security, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may refuse or cancel a purchase that breaks these rules, and refund it.

11. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the version shown when you buy applies to that purchase, and every version is archived. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without limiting consumer rights you have where you live. Questions: admin@tunegrid.au.
