Portal terms of service
Version 1.2
1. Who you are dealing with
This portal is run by the workshop named on it (your "workshop"). The workshop is the seller of everything you buy here: it sets the prices, issues your invoice, delivers the work and handles refunds. The portal technology is provided by Tune Grid Pty Ltd ("TuneGrid"), an Australian company (registration in progress), which is not a party to your purchase and never holds your money. Payments are processed by Stripe.
2. Your account
Sign-in is passwordless: we send a 6 digit code to your email or mobile. Keep control of them; you are responsible for what happens under your account until you report a problem. Your account belongs to this workshop's portal. You must be able to enter a binding contract (in Australia, generally 18 or older).
3. Buying tunes
Tune files are digital products, made or matched for your specific vehicle and delivered as a download or installed by the workshop. A delivered file is licensed to you for the vehicle and job you bought it for; you must not copy it, resell it or apply it to other vehicles. Prices are in Australian dollars unless shown otherwise.
4. Refunds
A delivered tune file cannot be returned, and change of mind refunds are not offered: once your file is delivered and the job is completed, the work has been performed. Instant tunes are ready-made and supplied as-is (that is why they cost less); custom tunes are built for your file and include adjustments within the workshop's support window. You confirm these terms with a tick before every purchase, and that confirmation is recorded. If something does not work: message the workshop in the project's support thread; the workshop will diagnose and fix it, and if it cannot be fixed within the workshop's published refund window you get your money back per the workshop's refund policy. Refunds for a failure of a consumer guarantee go back to your original payment method unless you expressly choose store credit.
Australian Consumer Law: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to cancel the affected service and obtain a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For failures that are not major you are entitled to have the failure remedied in a reasonable time. Nothing in this document excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have under law that cannot be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a guarantee failure (section 64A of the Australian Consumer Law, for goods or services not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use), our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the affected service or paying the cost of resupply, where it is fair and reasonable to do so.
5. Store credit
The workshop may give you store credit (for example as a refund you chose). Store credit is spendable only at this workshop, cannot be cashed out or transferred, does not expire, carries no fees, and is capped at 1,000 Australian dollars. It is a liability of the workshop, not of TuneGrid, and it is not money on deposit.
6. Your vehicle
Vehicle modifications are regulated. Modifying engine software can affect the vehicle's emissions compliance, roadworthiness, registration, insurance cover and manufacturer warranty. Laws differ by country and state, and in many places it is unlawful to remove or reduce the effectiveness of emission control systems (for example DPF, EGR, AdBlue or catalyst functions) on a vehicle used on public roads, regardless of any label on the product. Products described as motorsport or off-road only must not be used on public roads. You are responsible for confirming that any modification you order is lawful for the vehicle and its intended use in its jurisdiction before you buy it, and, when you order for a customer, for clearly explaining this to them. If you are unsure, ask your workshop or your local authority first.
7. Your files
Only upload files you have the right to use. You keep the rights in your files and grant the workshop and TuneGrid the licence needed to store, process, match and deliver them to do the work. Your data is handled per the Privacy policy, available on this portal.
8. Fair use
Do not upload malware, probe the platform's security, access other people's data, or use the portal for anything unlawful. Accounts that do can be suspended, with notice and a chance to respond except where the risk requires immediate action.
9. The AI help assistant
The "Ask TuneGrid" assistant is an automated AI system. It can make mistakes and does not give professional advice; binding answers come from the workshop or its staff.
10. Changes, law and contact
Material changes to these terms come with at least 30 days notice on the portal or by email; the version you accepted is recorded. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without limiting consumer rights you have where you live. Questions: the Support page on this portal, or admin@remapsolutions.com.
